A Beautiful Day & a Fall Giveaway

Today, was such a beautiful day! We went to eat lunch at Daddy's office and then we were off to the mall. I know, I am shopping way too much. A girls gotta have clothes! Anyway, here is a pic I took at lunch. I thought this picture was cute.

I love my boys!

After our shopping trip, we came home and the little guy played and read his book. I totally expected him to crash, but he was in such a good little mood. I just had to snap some pics!

Prayer Request

Please Pray

I would like for you to stop and say a prayer for The Crew Family today. They are in great need of all the prayers they can get. Their little girl, Emma, has become the victim of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Emma is 13 months old and in very critical condition at Rady's Children's Hospital in San Diego, California. On September 18, 2009, her parents dropped her off at daycare and received a phone call shortly after informing them that Emma had been in an accident and they needed to go to the ER immediately. When the arrived at the hospital, they learned that Emma had sustained massive head trauma and was in a coma. Right now, they are having problems getting Emma's ICP (intra cranial pressure) levels to stay normal (Emma's is 35, 15 is the max). Please pray for this family! If you would like to make a donation to The Emma Crew Fund, or just send them your prayers you can visit their blog here.

It's Creepy and Crawling!

A few posts ago, I mentioned that we are going to a Costume Party at the end of the month. Last year, I was five months pregnant and wasn't much fun. I wanted to bake something fun last year, but was too afraid I would eat it all before anyone else had a chance to try it. So, this year since I don't have to worry about devouring all the goodies in sight. I have decided to bake some cute Halloween cupcakes. I got this cute little idea from Hostess with the Mostess. Aren't these little monster cupcakes the cutest thing? They are super easy and so fun!

I really wanted to make these spider cupcakes, but they seemed a little bit more time consuming. They look so YUMMY!

This website has some really cute ideas for parties and gifts. I will definitely be posting pictures of the cupcakes when they are finished. I can't wait to see if they turn out as cute as they are in the picture. Here are a few more cupcakes I thought were such cute ideas.

Dinner and a Playdate

Last night, we had dinner with Dusty's cousin, his wife and baby boy. They came to do some shopping and we got to hang out with them for a while. We had so much fun! We decided to eat at P.F. Changs and it was great!! Here are pics from dinner.

70 Degrees and Loving It

This is how The Little Monkey felt about the rain this morning

I was starting to get worried this morning that our beautiful day was going to be filled with rain, but the sun came out and we played! I just love it when the weather is right at 70 degrees. That is the perfect temperature for me! These are the days when I refuse to stay home. Instead, I get out and take in every minute of this season ( have you figured out yet that I love Fall) ? :)

Look at his little outfit. It's fitting, don't you think?

This was his reaction when I told him we were going shopping for Mommy some new dresses. Ha!

Look at these cute pants!

Fall Activities

Today, me and the little guy took a walk downtown. I had some business to take care of, so we decided to walk around and get some exercise. This is what he did while Mommy pushed him around in the stroller.

This is not the way his feet looked when we started our walk.
Too cute!

We enjoyed our walk in the beautiful Fall weather.
It was such a gorgeous day!

Speaking of Fall, I wanted to share a pic of the little guy's Halloween costume. My sister-in-law is hosting her annual Costume Party at the end of this month and the little guy is going as my high school's mascot, Leo the Lion! How cute!! Of course, we are going to match him. I am going to dress in one of my old high school cheerleading uniforms and go as the cheerleader and Dusty is going as the football coach. Roar Lions! Isn't this costume the cutest?

I can't wait for the Costume Party so he can wear this cute little costume!
