- My first resolution is to start spending more time with God in daily prayer. I have been doing a daily devotion, but feel like I don't "talk/listen" to God when he wants me to. I will admit, it is quite difficult to sit down and really focus with a baby that is into everything, but I know I can do it.
- Work out more. After I had the little monkey, I was quite surprised how the weight just fell off and I lost my baby weight + some, but I need to start getting into shape for my health and toning up.
- Eating better. I think I do pretty good at watching the stuff that I eat. I don't pig out on junk food and I do a pretty good job of having the strength to stop at just one Hershey's bar :) However, I am a big fan of fried chicken and french fries. So, this resolution consists of me eliminating all fried foods from my diet ( wish me luck).
- Being a better wife. I love my husband and we have a very good marriage. Not to say we are perfect ( far from), but we work hard at it, communicate with each other, and are respectful towards each others feelings, but there is always room for improvement.
- Stop throwing stuff away. You're probably wondering what in the world I am referring to. Well, my husband could tell you in half a second. I am the worst at going through the house and throwing anything and everything that looks like garbage away. This includes important receipts, airline tickets, credit card receipts, important phone numbers and my favorite, a $100 check. So, my resolution is to stop and look at paper before I trash it :)
Well, these are my resolutions and I hope I conquer each one!
You know I can't post something and not include a pic of the little monkey. So here he is taking a bath in the sink last night. He likes taking a bath in the big boy bathtub, but he also loves playing with the water that comes out of the faucet.
He is feeling much better. Just look at that handsome smile. I love him :)
He's so cute!
